Decoding long nanopore sequencing reads of natural DNA.

In this work, we demonstrated nanopore sequencing of DNA from the bacteriophage phiX174. This was the first demonstration of kilobase-long reads using nanopore DNA sequencing. We also performed proof of principle viral identification, scaffolding, and SNP detection.
