PhD Students
As described here, the department aims to provide financial support for all currently enrolled full-time PhD students making satisfactory progress, generally via a combination of teaching and research assistantships. Requests for a Teaching Assistantship are submitted on this form. Research Assistantships are currently available in:
Undergraduate Students
Undergraduate teaching assistants are paid at the hourly rate established by the union contract. Students interested in employment as an undergraduate teaching assistant in introductory physics labs and tutorials must have completed Phys 121, 122 & 123, be a Physics major, and have already enrolled in and completed at least one quarter of Phys 401/402/403. Entry to this preparatory class is via this application.
