Eric Lester

I am a graduate student here at the UW, where I am a part of the Nanodevice Physics group led by Dr. David Cobden. My background is a bit eclectic. I am from Raleigh, North Carolina; went to Carnegie Mellon University as an undergraduate, where I majored in physics with a minor in computer science; and I have lived and studied abroad in Nanjing, China. My research interests include 2D materials with a hope of discovering new materials and devices with promise in application. My personal interests include 3D printing, CAD, exploring Seattle, and occasionally lock-picking.
