Electron transport in Weyl and Dirac semimetals

Anton Andreev, University of Washington
PAA A-102

Weyl and Dirac semimetals are topological conductors in which electrons display fascinating phenomena. Among them is the chiral anomaly, originally discovered in high energy physics. In this talk I will review the essential features of these materials and discuss spectacular manifestations of the chiral anomaly in electron transport.
