Rob Goldston, Princeton
Monday, November 29, 2021 - 4:00pm
PAA A-102

The United States and Russia are engaged in the early phases of a new nuclear arms race. With the recent shredding of arms-control agreements, this race may proceed unfettered and could lead to unprecedented dangers to humanity. On the other hand a new bilateral dialog on strategic stability has begun. As scientists we are obliged to understand the dynamics of the arms race and its dangers, and to develop and support means to avert the rush to oblivion.
