γ-ray burst (GRB) are cosmic explosions detected as a short rise above the γ-ray background. Neutron star mergers are allegedly the sources of short GRBs and also produce gravitational wave (GW) events. There is motivation to detect GRBs associated with GW events. Our GALI instrument will enable to find GRBs in a full 1/2 hemisphere and give immediate alert as well as accurate direction so other instruments may focus on it.
