Many Beyond the Standard Model (BSM) constructs that address the open questions left after completing the SM by discovering the Higgs boson such as dark matter, particle antiparticle asymmetry (baryogenesis), hierarchy problem and neutrino masses. Most theoretical constructs (models) that address these key issues can contain or require long-lived particles (LLPs). This talk will briefly review some models and discuss the signatures of LLPs in LHC detectors. Current ATLAS, CMS and LHC results of LLP searches will be summarized. A propose detector to extend the reach of LLP searches to 107 meters, the Big bang nucleosynthesis limit.
