​A new, 100 km long high energy electron positron collider has been under consideration in China. The design, R&D and site exploration of the CEPC collider are under way. This seminar addresses some of the scientific, technical, engineering and social challenges the CEPC project is facing, and the enormous opportunities it may bring.
