I will present recent searches performed by CMS with LHC collision data at 13 TeV center of mass. We search for massive new resonances, such as Z', W', KK gluons, and vector-like quarks that to heavy standard model particles, including top quarks, Higgs and vector bosons. Due to the mass regimes considered, the decay particles are highly boosted, and jet substructure techniques are utilized to distinguish these decay particles from their standard model backgrounds.
