PHYS 227 A: Mathematical Physics I

First part of a two-quarter sequence. Applications of mathematics in physics with emphasis on the mechanics of particles and continuous systems. Develops and applies computational methods, both analytic and numerical. Course overlaps with: B PHYS 317.
