Emile Bakelaar (he/him/his)

Emile joined the University of Washington in 2021.  He is the Director of Computing for the Department of Physics, the Department of Astronomy, the Institute for Nuclear Theory, and the eScience Institute.

Emile has 20+ years of experience in application management, software & hardware development/maintenance, system administration, project management, team management and customer support. Specific expertise in managing the development and support of software/hardware used in a research or biomedical environment.
