AxionLog

Axions are one of the leading dark matter candidates and of great interest to the theoretical and experimental communities. This workshop aims to explore the current state of the axion field, including reviewing recent theoretical developments, astrophysical observations, laboratory-based experiments and novel ideas which could lead to the discovery of the QCD dark-matter axion. The workshop will report on the current state of the field and the direction of this research going forwards beyond the current Gen 2 projects. The workshop will have a limited number of spaces to encourage an atmosphere in which conversation will flourish. To achieve this, we are asking the participants to apply for the workshop via indico and then wait to hear whether they have been accepted by the organizing committee. A benefit of this is that the workshop will cover registration, accommodation and select meals.

To apply for the workshop please register on the Indico site: https://indico.fnal.gov/event/22434/

The application deadline is the 31st of January 2020. You will be notified whether you have been accepted by the workshop secretariat by the 7th of February.
