Undergraduate Research Assistant on Axion Dark Matter Experiment

General Duties/Description

The nature of dark matter is one of the fundamental mysteries in modern cosmology and particle physics.  The Rybka group is working to develop experiments capable of testing whether dark matter is made of a hypothetical particle called the axion.  Seeking an undergraduate with knowledge of radiofrequency measurements and data analysis to help design and operate experiments.

Requirements

Interested students are preferred to have previous laboratory experience, familiarity with web interface to experiment controls software, an understanding of data analysis in python, and the ability to work independently.

Salary

$17.27/hr
